I think it was a statement more than a question.
wel...food for thought!
Gigis_mum, thank you very much for the links these will help me immensely for my trip in October :0)
Correct me if im wrong but i think sunil a maybe asking if restraints cater for vegetarians, lol,
sunil the answer is yes most do and all have menus and prices outside so you will be able to pick to suit your budget
Mulzy, thanks for saying thanks! Time Out has pretty good lists, I think. I haven't tried any of these myself but I recall some local members suggesting some of them in previous discussions. Esp Sesamo and Biocentre. Keep in mind that the typical Catalan menu has some great options for vegetarians (crusty bread rubbed with tomato, cold tomato soup, grilled mushrooms, cheese, garbanzos with spinach, grilled vegetable salad etc). Feeling rather hungry now...

I don't want to correct you, yorkshiregirl and you're probably right, but Sunil wasn't asking anything. He didn't even have enough time to say "please" but expects some kind of response. I'm with Doff for the most appropriate response.
Thanks to Doffcocker and Gigis-mum for these links. Just what I needed. It was going to be a question in the future before we leave for Barcelona. Now I know what is being offered and what I want to not order. Still trying to get my nerve up to try Octopus since it seems everyplace offers it.
