Girona to Marseilles

Any suggestions on how to travel from Girona to Marseilles? Are we best to go back to Barcelona and fly there or are there buses and/or trains? We would consider renting a car but will have to leave it in Marseilles (flying to Paris). Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi,

From Girona to Marseilles is 406km; it would take 4 hours to drive there using the motorways (it's a good road, I drove to Montpelier recently). Have a look at www.viamichelin.co.uk.

If you hire a car from a company like HERTZ or EUROCAR you can probably pick it up in Girona and drop off at you departure airport.

Good luck.

Great information...thanks. However, do you know if there is any other means of transportation in the event we prefer not to drive?

Hi,

I'm not really sure but you could look at the train service on www.renfe.com.
