Markets to visit in Sitges

Hi

Staying in Sitges Friday 18th to 25th July - and looking for a village / town we can visit by train that will have a market on the Tuesday or Wednesday and to have a little lunch / stroll about.

We are already planning trips to Barcelona so looking for somewhere else.

We cannot do Sitges market on the Friday as that is our arrival and departure date.

Any suggestions?

Don't know about surrounding towns as never visit markets! But there is a market in Sitges on Thursday mornings in the 'new rambla' - just under the railway bridge next to the park.

Vilafranca de Penedes. Easily reached by train. If you could make it on Saturday, thats the main market day, where it runs along many streets. But there is one on Tuesday too - not been on Tuesday so don't know how big.

Recommend Miquel Soria for lunch, couple of doors down from the excellent wine museum.
