For me yes. The city is not so big, especially the tourist area. Not everything will interest everyone.

i personally do not recommend staying in Santiago more than 48 hours and that has far more of interest.

Yes spring time is a good time, After Semana Santa things are not so busy, hopefully day time temps are good, but it will not be lay in the sun weather, unless you are very lucky. Flowers are out and the leaves return.
