Wi-Fi in Madrid

Hi,

I'm wondering if there are free Wi-Fi spots in the city? Just found out my hotel has a very large fee to use their Wi-Fi. Just trying to determine if it's worth packing the IPod. Thanks

I was told you can get it at places like McDonalds, but when I was there I never checked.

Im surprised that Starbucks in Spain don't seem to have free wifi...I tried to search but for the looks of it, they only provide free wifi in the U.S.

Any place close to Puerta Del Sol??

In the map, they all look a bit away from Puerta Del Sol.

Thanks!!

Hope the list gets longer!
