Recommended tour company for sight-seeing trips from Madrid

We wish to take a half-day trip to San Lorenzo de Escorial from Madrid and so far, the reviews of tour companies are less than stellar. Any suggestions and recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!

GYac:

Julia Travel is one of the large tour companies.

You can also do it by yourself. Read the top question about this day trip on the right panel.

The only reasons I can think of for using a tour company. 1. You feel completely inept in a country because of not knowing Spanish. 2. There are some complicating physical concerns. 3. You just want someone else to do the work.

Otherwise, a DIY is very doable.
