Was the Madrid Card worthwhile? We want to use it for Prado, Prado, Reina Sofia and restaurants.

this all depends on what you are going to use it for. the madrid card is not cheap. they are issued for 1, 2, 3 and 5 days with prices of 44, 54, 64 and 74 euros respectively.

you can vsit reina sofia for free from 7 pm to 9 pm on mon, wed, thur and friday, sat from 2.30 pm and sun morning until 2.30 pm.

entrance to prado museum is free from mon to sat 6 pm to 8 pm and 5 pm to 8 pm on sun.

the thyssen-borneemisza is free on mon from 12 noon to 4 pm.

VWMAYER:

City cards are not economical unless you have time to go to all the places listed on them. Otherwise it is more economical to pay at individual sights.
