Cycling Along the Manga Strip

Does anyone know if you can get the whole way round the Manga strip by cycling from San Pedro di Pinetar - can't see from google maps if this is possible or not?

Not unless you like a good paddle. Like the man made lagoons in Dubai, there needs to be a clear and reasonable exit/entry for the sea and it's tides.

Hi Suzysu,

Don't forget, as an alternative, you might like to consider taking your bike(s) over to La Manga via the Mar Menor ferry service, albeit from Santiago de la Ribera rather than San Pedro del Pinatar.

Used to cost €1 per bike each way (plus the standard passenger fare). Someone who's used it this year may be able to confirm the current price.

Cheers!

Hi

We checked price last autumn and yes still 1 euro per bike and I think 4 euro per adult. Not sure if this is single or return though!

Hi Suzysu

You can get a ferry from San Pedro to Tomas Maestre Port which is more or less at the bottom of the strip and then cycle more or less round to murcia airport which is do able.
