We always have this problem as my son -in- law has the same phobia, the only way we have got round this is to ask for a low floor and explain why also we write to the hotel or even phone them a day or two befor we travel and we have been lucky every time.

we stayed at the belroy, can't remember how high it was but certainly not a sky scraper, i think we were on 3rd floor but like the other poster said it would be wise to ask directly to the hotel / apt before you go. surely this must be common as people may have diasbilities etc.

My mum has vertigo and has had this problem here. They phone the hotel up and request a low floor when they book the holiday, then phone up a couple of days before they are due to go and confirm the low floor.

Terralta apartments low rise only 3 floors, rated number 1 appartments on this site(and I think they are).On the Poniente side 1 km from beach and old town.Bus leaves outside apartments number 8 about 20 mins to the hour every hour 1.20 € to edge of new town.100 metres down the road can catch number 12 bus which runs more regular.Regards Steve.

Rinconada real is a small estate which only has terraced houses on it, it's at the Rincon end of Benidorm.
