Lemon Express and/or Guadalest

Hi

We will be on our first visit to Benidorm next week and have seen mention of the many things to do and see there. However, does anyone know if the Lemon Express train is still operating and, if so, is it worth a try.

I'd also like to visit Guadalest but we have no transport arranged so what would be the best way of getting to visit there too.

Thanks.

the lemon express stopped running in about 2005.

go to guadalest for FREE on a blanket tour

there are buses but they are only once a day and not regular.

the blanket tour is free if you can handle listening to a sales

pitch about woolen blankets for an hour

bus to guadalest runs just once a day and only gives you around 2 hours there-was enough time for us to have stroll around and take some nice photos but it's a bit of a rush...

nobodys mentioned the boat that takes you round the guadalest reservoir this is also included and the visit to the arts and craft shop or the free sample shot of wine that is locally made. when you visit the blanket factory they supply you with a free beer ,if i remmember right the whole thing lasts about 6 hours from your pickup in the morning you have enough time for a meal and a stroll through the tiny village of guadalest. when you are bussed back they sell raffle ticket and the prize is a bag of goodies from the shops at arts and crafts.--bill
