Indoor market or the wine barrel just over the road near the villa de Benidorm .

the shop next to the pelicanos is a rip-off shop , so dont go in there.

I always bring Sterling travellers cheques , and get them cashed no problem.

Would u not be better getting a currency card instead of travellers cheques- I always find its a lot less hassle. Thomas cooks one is good, I always use that when I'm in benidorm. Just a suggestion. X

Aye mrsfruity , its open every day , but might shut early on the weekend , maybe 3pm .

i usually pop down around 10-30am , thats when the money gets delivered to the shop.

just the usual , first time bring yer passport , then you get a slip so you dont have to bring it again.

Basically u just put ur euros on the card and use the card as u would a switch card. In shops, bars etc anywhere that accepts MasterCard accepts it and there are no charges for swiping. It's chip and pin so totally secure and it's not attached to ur bank account it's just basically the money u've put on it and same insurances as traveler cheques. U get charged 2 euros for taking money out of the cash machines ( I was actually only about 1 euro 86 cents ) and there are no up front fees to get the card. Can u tell I really like it? Lol x
