Magic Group

Hi all, we are planning on staying in the Magic Tropicana for 3 nights in May and will be all inclusive and I was wondering if the all inc we have for Tropicana extends to use at the other Magic hotel chains?

For example can we head down to the aqua rock for drinks after eating in Tropicana??

Hi Martin,

I myself would give them a miss, booked three nights in june last year,

arrived at the Tropicana, the place was shut, a painter said try the rock further up the hill,

goes the desk clerk said we are fully booked.try one of our other hotels,

we arrived at lunch time, I could sort an apartment out myself, but if somebody arrived late with a family,

they would be in trouble.

book a different hotel.

The Tropicana are apartments and the Restaurant is closed till June but you can take your meals and drinks in the Magic rock gardens and some of the other Hotels in the Magic chain.

yes , you can use all the facilities at the other magic hotels in and around benidorm, including food and drink. they used to have a bus that travelled between the different magic hotels--and they have a timetable that tells you the departure times and pick up times between the hotels --so you can travel around benidorm free of charge between the hotel locations ie -- the villa de benidorm in the new town and the crystal park in the old town etc.. hope this helps

Yes you can, it's very good value for money. Look on the link below for further details. If the free bus is running it's a great opportunity to visit other areas and hotels in Benidorm.

Hi Martin,

A group of us stayed in the Aqua Rock last May but on reflection felt that the location and cost for staying All Inclusive were somewhat negated by eating/drinking/socialising elsewhere.

Whilst the rooms were superb, it was quite rowdy (May Day Bank holiday weekend) so we have opted for a much cheaper central apt this year on a self catering basis.

I guess a lot depends on the profile of the group you are travelling with.

Magic group - Can you use the facilities or even enter hotels of this chain if you have booked on a self catering basis. My sis and I have booked to go in two weeks to the Tropicana suits, which we have since found out through a group of travellers that were booked to stay there a week ago that the place is indeed closed. They were relocated to the Cristal Park Hotel at the other end of the Island. Our dilemma is that we are going to celebrate our cousins hen w-end and although my cousin and friends booked through a travel agent all Inclusive, we opted to book by ourselves online self catering as we didn't fancy the types of food that may be served at a 2star hotel/apartment. On finding out the Tropicana suits are closed, my cousin went to her travel agent and they have said they will most likely be placed at the Cristal Park Hotel. Goodness knows where we will be placed as the Magic group insist on telling our holiday broker that the Tropicana suits are open! Yes, very frustrating. What was meant to be a girly giggle has turned into a get there and hope for the best! I have to say that I will never book with this group again. Advertising a holiday/apartment block that is clearly closed should be against the law. As WardyLiverpool states, imagine arriving at your apartment with a 10 month old at night to find it's closed. Shame on you Magic!!!!
