Signs for a new Iceland opening near Benidorm palace for anybody interested
Way overpriced now. Were good when they first started but prices are £1 = €1,50.
Is that going to be where the diggers are digging next to the campsite?
Mark, would hardly call it way overpriced, works out at about £1.20 at todays commercial rate, what I would call way overpriced are the cost of newspapers and they are even printed in Spain.
A complete rip off!!
Yes I've never understood why newspapers continue to be such a rip off price either. Could understand it a bit more years ago, but I don't see a reason for the huge price difference now, I never buy one these days!
Best Regards - Taggy
I think they were cheaper years ago when they were flown over from the UK
I love the papers but yeah-in todays technically advanced world...why are they so expensive? Email the copy/print :)
Hoggie - When they opened near us a few years ago it was £1 = €1.20 when the rate was about €1,10 which was about 10% above market rate, fair enough. Now they are 25% above market rate............
I never buy a newspaper when on holiday now. Last one I bought was 2.20 euros which is just ridiculous!
A good job to get if they need staff. Job all year round on contract. A few people I know have jobs at the one in La Marina Urb.
The building is actually up with a poster saying coming soon.
I think its decent value really, especially for British goods.
Each to their own though!
