O'Maras, Sherries, Caspers are all decent. La Sirena nice for enjoying the sun.

You'll be spoilt for choice.Do what I do have a wonder round the narrow streets of the old town until you see a bar that looks appealing. If it's not what you're after, move on to the next one, lol!.

I would also recommend Caspers,a small intimate bar run by 2 lovely blokes.See reviews on here.

Hi gjenkins2014

Agree with all the above. You'll enjoy the stroll around the old town. So many! When you say your staying near the old town, you may fancy a wonder on the Poniente side. For eg, less than 10 min from all the bars mentioned above. You'll come to the Jarrow Lad,Coach n Horses, and creevans. All facing the beach, a lovely location to stop at for a cold beer on a afternoon. You get a nice tan too..Lol

I personally recommend San Remo cocktail bar which is just another few mins on facing the beach for evening drink. A lovely relaxing bar to sit in on a hot balmy evening with music to match! You'll be made very welcome.

The Pig and Whistle is good, I also like Vincent's bar just back from dove park.

Olivers is a good bar in the old town. It's just opposite Tapa's alley next to Queens hotel. Great to sit on the terrace with a really cold bottle of Mahou people watching.

Wonder what time you have to go to get a seat at Olivers ?

It's always full when we pass in September - people even sitting on the steps !
