Playa Flamenca in August

We are taking our grandchildren, aged 5 and 7 on holiday for the first time. Any ideas for nice places to take them?

Hi Sue , Playa Flamenca covers a large area so if you could tell us where abouts you will be staying that might help, rather than suggesting places too far away as making little ones walk in the August heat will not be good.

There are coach tours that go to Benidorm in the summer months and they do Mundomar which is a good day out. here is the link coachtripsonline.com/component/k2/item/316-s…

The Zenia Boulevard has an amusement area for young kids on the upper level also the have a bowling alley.

If you go to the Flamenca commercial centre which has lots of bars and restaurants there is a family sports bar which has an area with toys and bouncy castle & swings which the kids will love while you and you hubby can have a drink. Just past the Flamenca centre above Supercor supermarket there is crazy golf.

The Celtic Isle is good for a day at there pool with the slide and you can also get food in there.

Torrevieja is nice of an evening and you can get the bus in but a taxi is more flexable as the bus only runs one an hour.

Don't forget to visit the market on a Saturday, its on the road facing the Celtic Isle.

Have a look at some of these day trips you can do by coach.

Really though I visit my brother in PF all the time (going again in 3 weeks) and would never go there without having a car available. generally I rent from the airport. You might be ok for shopping if you truly are 5 mins walk from Zenia but if you have never been to the are before it's difficult to comprehend how spread out it is.

We will be staying at Fransico Salzillio Playa Flamenca Costa Blanca South. How far is this from Playa Flamenca Commercial Centre and Zenia Boulevard. Is it a central place to stay please?
