Train tickets on arrival

Hi,

I find on the Trenitalia web site that seats are not on offer on certain listed trains out of Tiburtina, for mid July. I was planning to pick up my tickets for mid July onwards, on arrival. Hope tickets will be availble.

Secondly, is it better to travel from Fiumicino airport to Orvieto, via Tiburtini or via Termini? My flight arrives in the morning.

Thanks in anticipation!

If the price column shows NA, this means only that the price is not yet on the web site. The trains will run.

Prices for local (Regionale) trains are not shown more than 7 days ahead. It is pointless trying to make bookings for these trains: there are no seat reservations and tickets cannot sell out. Buy the tickets at the airport.

Travel via Tiburtina will cost less, as you can take the FR1 suburban train to Tiburtina and then a Regionale train to Orvieto.
