Want to see Florence and Venice with daughter studying in Florence, but we are debating on including Rome or going south for a few days to see Capri and Pompei. We are planning our trip to arrive in Florence on friday the 19th, spending a few days there with her. She will be on break and said she will go with us wherever we want to go. Is it to cold to see Capri that time of year or timewise too difficult to fit Capri/ Pompei in? I have heard mixed reviews on Rome, not sure why.
