First time booking with self-catering apartments and finding it a little daunting. Emails are slow, vouchers very basic and communication sometimes difficult.
Tried using the phone but not much success either, mostly cell phones and messages/voicemail only in Italian, bad connections etc.
Is this the norm or is there a real problem here?
I can't feel assured that the renter is going to follow thru and deliver the goods!
I've booked in Amalfi (Minori), Rome and Venice.
Would appreciate some feedback and assurances about these apartments.
