train travel between cities in Italy

Which train system is best to use; Eurostar or Italo? I want to purchase our tickets online before our trip in August. We will be traveling from Rome to Florence, Florence to Venice, then back to Rome. Thank you for any advice!

There are no longer any trains called Eurostar in Italy. It does not matter whether you use Trenitalia or Italo: they both provide similar service. Select on the basis of price and convenience.

For the best prices, book now. Tickets for August went on sale in March, and on many trains the cheapest tickets will be sold out. Book with www.trenitalia.com (using Roma Termini, Firenze SM Novella, Venezia S Lucia) or www.italotreno.it/EN
