How Much Money Should I Take/Save up for Trip?!

Hello Everyone!

My Husband and I will be taking our 1st trip to italy in February (19th-March1) and wondering how Much we should take/save for spending.

*All hotels include breakfast

*train tickets paid for

*flights paid.

*TOURS paid for (two vatican & Coloseum)

*23 year old couple

Venice three nights *DURING CARNIVAL *i will take one mask from home husband will purchase his in venice. will not need costumes

Rome three nights

Naples one night

Ischia/Capri one night

Paris *23 hours (one night) 3pm-10am

*open to grocery shopping

otherwise we plan to eat out , we are light drinkers , husband likes beer (suggest good brands) :), souvenirs and thats pretty much all info i can think of

I budget €50 to €75 per day for food, admissions, and local transportation. I'm not a big shopper so a few small items are included in that amount. Some days are more, some less.

Generally, I think that Italian beer is distinctive and very good. Try whatever is available in the restaurants. I have never been disappointed with italian beer.

Don't take any money with you, except perhaps €100 so you don't have to look for an ATM as soon as you arrive in Italy.

The exchange rate for cash is poor. You do better to take a debit card and get money from ATMs out of your bank account, just like at home.

I budget closer to 100€ (+ accommodation) and that doesn't include an extravagant dinner or real shopping, maybe just an inexpensive market scarf. It seems that my trips to a grocery store run 30-50€. I rarely have managed to only spend 50€ daily.
