Train from Ancona to Rome

We are a group of 6 arriving mid August on a Monday at 0700 hours from Split to Ancona on the SNAV Ferry. We want to catch a train from Ancona to Rome once we arrive. Although train schedules for August are yet to be released, my research so far shows only one train departing Ancona on Mondays at 3:30pm. Is this really the case or are there other trains departing earlier? It seems odd that trains have not been married up with ferry arrival times. Appreciate any advice you can give. Cheers .... Kerry

There is a timetable change on 15 June, and train times after that date will probably not be published until sometime in May. If you use a date before then, you will see around 7 trains daily from Ancona to Rome.

Use www.trenitalia.com clicking the UK flag to change to English and looking for trains from Ancona to Roma Termini.
