Trip to Italy, late May

Hello guys,

we are a married couple at our 30s,

want to visit Italy in late May this year, for 5-8 days, never been to Italy before.

We like nature rather than big cities, enjoy good wine and green sights.

Would like to get recommendations on area to travel,

some transportation tips

and vegan friendly restaurants available.

Thank you in advance,

A friend I've traveled with usually says she is a vegtarian, she finds that easier than explaining the kosher laws in an overwhelmingly Catholic country. I am a vegetarian: Sono vegetariano (if male), Sono vegetariana (if female), Siamo vegetariani (if a mixed couple).

Note that "vegetarian" means different things to different people, so it's always good to spell out very clearly no meat, not even broth, no poultry, no fish, no dairy, etc.

Larger cities will have kosher restaurants or restaurants with kosher food. To ask if a restaurant has any kosher dishes you could say "Avete piatti kosher?".

You could also reach out to the synagogues in the main cities for information.

Thank you for your answers.

I will focus on Tuscany.

About my vegan "problem" - I found the Happy Cow website.

Thanks again,
