We need help with what trains to take (Fast) and what stations to take them from and to.

Also can we purchase them online

You cannot take a train to Bellagio. The nearest train station is at Varenna, which is a short ferry ride away.

Nor can you take a train to Capri, or a mainline train to Sorrento. You take a mainline train to Naples and change there to the Circumvesuviana to Sorrento.

The stations you want are Venezia S Lucia, Varenna-Esino, Firenze SM Novella, Napoli Centrale and Roma Termini.

For the best prices on the fast trains, book direct with the operator as far ahead as possible. Trenitalia tickets go on sale 4 months before travel, Italo less predictably, and the cheapest tickets often sell out quickly. Discounted ticket prices keep going up as the travel date gets closer.

You can get train times and costs from www.trenitalia.com clicking on the UK flag to change to English and using the Italian names for towns, or from the competitor on major routes http://www.italotreno.it/EN

Note that the trains between Milan and Bellagio are local (Regionale) trains. There is no point in trying to book these trains over the internet. They have no seat reservations (so seats cannot sell out) and no discounts. Buy in Italy, at any major train station.

Tickets for the Circumvesuviana are not available online. You have to buy in Naples.

You received some of the relevant information in a previous post. Have you visited the Trenitalia site?
