Sentiero Degli Dei

I would like to visit the famous path this summer but we are travelling with our 18 months old baby. Would anyone have any suggestions on how we can walk for about 1.5 hours with the baby in a backpack or a stroller? Just thought there may be some entry points to some less challenging paths that would still allow us to admire the magnificient view.

I think the best bet would be to take a bus from Amalfi to Agricola (sp) which you then get off at Boomerano. This puts you on the upside of the walk which you reach by walking through the Village...or ...asking the way. You can then select how far you need to go as it is a 4 hour trip to Nocello and it will be tempting to go the whole way. It is not an onerous trip but the vertigo gene gets a work out. try this Italian site

Thank you for your reply. I guess we can decend from the highest point from Bomerano and turn back if we have to, but is the path smooth enough to travel with a stroller/pushchair or will it be difficult to push it through the tough terrain?

Dear Foreverglobetrotter,

You can not take a stroller on the path, it is narrow, steep and sometime without barrier.

You could start your walk form Montepertuso, a small village up on the hill of Positano.
