1 day enough?

Hi, we will be based in Capri for our 5-night stay and were thinking of taking the ferry one morning and spending the day in the amalfi coast, mainly we would like to see ravello, positano, amalfi, and sorrento before going back to Capri. Is that feasible during one day? And can we do it on our own (bus, etc) or do we take a guided tour?

But get an early start.

We stayed in Sorrento, and "did" the Amalfi Coast in one day (though we went back a second day to hike a section of the Sentiero Degli Dei.

We didn't go to Ravello, though initially we had planned to hike down from Ravello to Atrani.

We found Amalfi to be the least charming and most touristy, as far as atmosphere goes. Positano seemed the cutest to us,though in any of the towns there's not really much "to do"....it seems to be more just being there, shopping, poking around, looking at the view.

In the morning, the busses are heavy loaded coming from Sorrento out toward Amalfi. In the afternoon/evening they are jammed going from Amalfi back toward Sorrento. So if you did it the opposite way you'd have more of a chance of getting a seat on the bus. (I'm assuming the same would be true for the boats).
