There is a (curreri) that goes from the Naples airport to Sorrento. When you get there you can take a SITA bus to Amalfi

OR May-Nov you can take a taxi (20-30 euros) or the Alibus (3 euros) to Beverello port (Piazza Municipio stop) and take the hydrofoil Ferry to Amalfi from there (Metro del Mare). I haven't done this myself. The hyrdofoil to Capri is 17 euros, so it is probably something like that.

OR you can take the Alibus (3 euro) to the Piazza Garibladi train station. You can take the Circumvesuviana train (3 euros) to Sorrrento, andf then catch the SITA bus there to Amalfi.

What you decide to do depnds on your budget, preferences and what time of day you are arriving. The buses from the Naples Airport to Sorrento run less often thant the Circumvesuviana to Sorrrento, and the hydrofoils don't run at all once it starts to get dark (?7 pm?).

If the SITA site is in Italian, copy the URL and go to Google language tools. Paste the URL into the right box, select Italian to English , and you get a literal translation.

Hi Cassie-H

If your traveling after Easter this year the Metro-Del-Mare ferry from Naples Beverello Port is your best way. It costs €12.pp and takes 1 3/4 hrs to Amalfi. Click their site for times. There is an 8:10AM a 12:00 and the last one is 2:00PM

Alternatives are the Curreri Bus from the airport €7.00 to Sorrento and right across the street the bus to Amalfi (45-50minutes €3.00pp or a 24 hour ticket for €6.00). For things to do click Positano Adventure Walks.

Take the local orange bus outside the Airport Terminal in Naples to Naples Central Station and then take the train to Salerno and then take a ferry from Salerno to Amalfi
