SITA bus stop - Second Request

Does anyone know exactly where the SITA bus stop is in Meta? We will be taking the SITA bus from Positano and transferring to the Circumvesuviano train in Meta.

Thanks.

Allan,

The Meta-Sorrento map doesn't appear to have a "public transport" key.

There is good co-ordination between transport modes in Italy. Although I do not know Meta, I would be amazed if the bus does not stop at the train station.

I am thinking of doing the same route to get to Pompei - did you find out if the train stop and bus stop are in the same location or close? Thanks.

There is a bus stop right outside the train station in Meta.

This google map shows the circumvesuviana train stop as the blue trolley on it's side (I've been there myself and recognized it on the satellite map)

maps.google.com/maps/ms…

I have not taken the SITA bus myself, but I read that the stop is near the Cirumvesuviana stop in Piazza Angelina Lauro.

The train station in Sorrento is elevated one to two stories above the street in back of it. I beleive the bus station is the side the street is on.
