Luna Hotel or Caesar Augustus?

We are travelling to Positano for a one week stay, followed by 3 nights in Capri for our 25th wedding anniversary with friends. Just looking for opinions between the two hotels and Anacapri or Capri along with opinions of these hotels. Thanks so much.

Two different tastes, the Luna is in Capri with a wonderful view on the south side of the island (if you get a room with view...) and, in particular, it faces the Faraglioni rocks, the hotel is 5 minutes walk or less away from the main square.

The Caesar Augustus is in Anacapri, they have a shuttle going back and forth and the bus stop is in front of the entrance, the taxi stop is 2 minutes walk away or less; it has a wonderful view on the gulf of Napoli, an amazing pool and the best sunset on the island.

Thanks. Luna is fully booked. In Capri, any others you highly suggest with a pool and a room with a view? I really appreciate your input especially since we have never been there.

That's actually very though as am myself looking for rooms for some clients and still can't find anything.

Can try with the Hotel Syrene from the Best Western or the Marriott Tiberio that is very nice too, central located but quiet.

should you need more info send me a private message

I asm not sure if this hotel is in your league. it's not in the same class with Caesar Augustus. We stayed at Il Girasole in May 2008 and really liked it

It has a pool

and the views from the terrace are great. We had one of the cheap rooms without a view

it doesn't have a restaurant of it's own and it's a 15 min walk to restaruants, but the scenrey was so beautiful we didn't mind. They have a shuttle servce from the Marina Grande for 7 eurso apiece.

We just booked a three night stay on Luxury Link (the auction site) at Caesar Augustus. It was much cheaper than anywhere else. Included breakfast, one dinner, 2- 60 minute massages transfers from the ferry and a three night stay. IT WAS ABOUT 50% off the regular rate.
