Is this a silly question?

Are we likely to have any problems with mosquitoes or any other insects?? Going to Rome 18th - 21st September.

We were there form 23rd to 31 of July - no problem at all. But we had an air-conditioned room.

We were in Rome during mid August and there wasn't a mosquito, or fly, or bee, or wasp in sight. I did see a couple of lizards scurrying around though.
