Hotel Michelangelo vs Spring Hill - Near St Peters / Vatican

This will be my 5th time to Rome, and the first time that I plan on staying near St. Peter's. I am looking at the above 2 hotels - Michelangelo vs Spring Hill. I know that Spring Hill is closer to the Metro, which is a plus. I am trying to stay at a moderately priced hotel and will be there for 6 days. I have already read the TA reviews and don't see much of a difference.

Any feedback on better choice???

Thank you for the help.
