Rome Airport Taxi

I understand that a taxi from FCO to hotels run 40Euro. Does this include luggage? We will be traveling with 4 adults and at least 4 pieces of luggage - will we charged extra for the luggage?

My understanding is you should not be charged if you only have one piece of luggage each.

One thing you must watch out for, though, is if your hotel is outside the Aurelian walls, your taxi fare will be metered. Look at this link, in English, from the Comune di Roma website, that will explain all about this. Click on the "map" link on the website and see where the Walls are.

And as you can see, there is no extra charge for luggage.
