2 nights in August- where to stay?

Hello,

My husband and I are going on a belated honeymoon for month this summer in Europe. I have been to Rome but hubby has not. We will be in Rome 2 days and 2 nights before heading to the Amalfi Coast for 4 days. We will be coming from 5 days in a tuscan farmhouse. We have reservations for Hotel Aberdeen at 80 euro per night currently. Should we be looking at a hotel more towards the spanish steps or more central instead of near Termini? We'd like to stay around 80-90 euro per night, bkfst included. Help! Thank you. A/C is a must as is bkfst. other than that, not too picky just want nice service and convenience and perhaps a bit of ambiance!

For 2 nights it doesnt make much difference. Just be sure the AC works! Also it is nice to be in a hotel with a lift..especcially if you are bringing heavy luggage.

I looked up the hotel. it looks fine. It is only 300 meters from the Spanish Steps and 500 meters from the termini. It is near fun restaurants..(if they are open in August)..many restaurants do close all or part of August.

Just be sure the hotel has AC!!!!!

cowboy up!
