Sure, we can suggest stops and itineraries but without knowing your interests, what good would they be?

Are you interested in Roman ruins, art, architecture, scenery and views, food?

Get yourself a good guidebook too and figure out what you like.

You could also look at viamichelin.com and see what route options they give you and check out places that come up; you can choose shortest route, quickest, best for sightseeing etc.

Yes, start with a good map! You will have a great trip spending 4 nights on the road! Fun.

We would avoid the cities and visit villages in the hills.
