BNL ATM at Fiumicino?

We are arriving from Heathrow at Fiumicino and would like to withdraw money from a BNL ATM on arrival. Does anyone know if it will be easy to find a BNL ATM at the airport? And, if not, does anyone know of one near the Pantheon (where we are staying)? We will have some Euros on us when we arrive but would prefer to get the majority when we get to Rome.

TIA.

You will be able to withdraw from any bank's ATM. Italian banks do not charge for ATM withdrawals, so any fees will come from your bank.

What is BNL anyway?

BNL is a banking group with branches all over Italy.

I looked it up because I also wondered about the letters.

Bank of America will charge NO ATM fees if a person uses a BNL bank in Italy.

They then only charge a 1% foreign conversion fee. It sounds like a pretty good deal.

So the question remains.....does anyone know if there's a BNL ATM in the Alitalia terminal at Fiumicino?

The BNL web locator does not list a Bancomat (ATM) at the airport.

trovafiliale.bnl.it/trovafiliale/…

If you go to the airport website, for the shopping map, then click on *services menu* and then Bancomat, flashing markers will show you the locations of the many Bancomats in the airport.

"Trova filiale" means "branch locator"; there is no BNL branch at FCO.

According to this, there *is* a BNL ATM at FCO (but I don;t know how you'd go about finding it):

Isn't that what I said?

No, that is not what you said. A Bancomat (ATM) is not a branch.

I suggest that the OP go to the BNL branch (and Bancomat) on Largo Arenula near the Pantheon.

I didn't say that a Bancomat was a branch. The website I provided has a Bancomat locator option and there is not one at the airport according to the BNL website. That is what I said.

Did you even bother to go to the link?
