Which restaurant is the LEAST touristy?

We will be in Rome in a few weeks and have received many dining recommendations. We really prefer non-touristy places that locals frequent. Which of these places best fit the bill in terms of few tourists and favored by locals? Do any of them offer outdoor seating?

Gusto

Trattoria Felice

Taverna Cestia,

Da Piperno

Thanks in advance!

One man's meat?

From a two-blob TA review of Da Felice, "The pastas were good, however the main course (steak and roast lamb) were just huge slabs of meat, on both half of which were just fat."

With even the best butchers' shops here offering little other than the leanest of veal and pork, that's been noted!

Peter

PS: We looked in at Da Piperno last time, and we rather taken aback by the prices - which seem to have jumped somewhat since we ate there?

the question was least touristy. there is heated debate about felice's quality of late in more food-oriented forums. but between the 4 mentioned, i think this is still the best.
