The distance from your ship to the dock gates will depend on where your ship berths, but there are shuttles from the ship to the dock gates. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to the train station.

2 weeks ago we were going to us the train to go back to Rome .We decided to reserve a private taxi to pick us up at the dock after our cruise and take us directly to our hotel in Rome. The driver also gave us a tour of Rome and the the price for 6 adults with 6 suitcases and carryons was 130 Euros. The money was a bargain after deciding we did not have to struggle from our cruiseship to the trainstation a distance that could be longer based on which cruiseship you are on,pay for train fare to the Termini and then to your hotel. The driver was very professional and showed us many sights on our way into rome including St Peters,Forum,Collisieum etc
