Train station question...

We will be arriving in Rome at about 8:00 am and may not be able to check into our apartment until 3:00pm. My question is should we take the train into Rome from the airport and store our luggage..is there big enough lockers to for large suitcases? And is there a metro stop close to Pizzaza Navona?

And it's a room, rather than lockers - so, unless too heavy for whatever limit they may set, any size of case should be OK.

Demand means the queues can be quite long at times, but the prices etc are here....

There is no metro station near Piazza Navona. You take a 64 bus from outside Termini, getting off at Largo Argentina.

Or, if your bags really are large enough to ask the original question, take a taxi!

This site usually gives a pretty accurate estimate of the cost, as long as you're careful with the addresses and travel time...

You could also ride the #40 bus one stop past Largo Argentina. You might be safer (and less crowded) than on the #64 bus. These two links - one with a picture of the "Left Luggage" entryway and a map of Termini station - might assist you.

Good Luck!
