I've never seen them in rooms (even in luxury hotels)--if they do have them I think you'll have to ask the concierge or front desk. But ditto, they don't cost much at all ($15-$20), and it's good to have one of your own anyway.

Lisa, luggage stores have them, department stores in the luggage dept. or travel magazines like travelsmith.com or magellans.com also have them. There are many more places, too.

I saw them at Brookstone at the Boston airport. I imagine other shops at larger airports that have international flights will carry them.

we bought ours at Kohls and also used one of their notorious discounts- wound up paying less than 15.00. they are in the luggage section almost anywhere-even saw them at target after we bought ours. all our hotels had hairdryers so didn't need to take my own.

Target has them, too. That's where I got mine:
