Here's a few for you to consider -- obviously your budget, what's available during the time you are there, and your interests will dictate which is right for you. I have not tried these, but hope the info helps:

http://www.maureenbfant.com

http://www.italiangourmet.com

www.conviviorome.com/Convivio_Rome/Home.html

http://www.cookingclassesinrome.com

If you do a search of "cooking classes" in this TA Forum you will pull up many threads on this topic, so there are definitely more places that you can find, as well as doing internet searches. Figuring out your specific budget (i.e., what is "reasonably priced") is a good first start so you can give more detail for people to consider when they respond.

just note that most of these do not have a few weeks duration, usually they are all one-offs, except for a "cooking holiday". depending on at what level you are interested, a real cooking school with longer term classes is http://www.coquis.it/corsi.php

Hi,

I did a weekend course with Convivio Rome in Sept 2011 and I would highly recommend it.

A highlight of my 4 weeks in Italy.

The school is in a small hilltop town of Toffia, about 40mins north of Roma by train.

I did alot of research before choosing them of other schools around Italy and settled on Convivio. I only did the weekend course but they have a week one as well.

Very reasonably priced as well compared to other schools.

Good luck!

Jules
