sleep in italy car service to FCO, any info?

Any information on car service from Rome apt to FCO? Charges are normally 57 Euro, but there is a 20% surcharge for pickup before 7 AM, bringing it to 68 Euros.

Would I be better off using Romecabs? They charge 60 Euros for pickup before 7 AM. Or is it all the same thing?

We have a 10:10 AM Friday morning flight in June, so we are planning to be picked up at 6:45 which should give us plenty of time.

If your hotel or apartment is within the city center a taxi will cost a flat rate of 48 euros. There may be a small charge for early morning pick up but it won't come to 68 euros. You can call ahead to arrange one.

Romecabs.com is a great company with wonderful service. If you can book with them you might want to save the hassle of calling for a regular cab.

How can it be the same when one is 8 euros more; go with Romecabs - they are excellent. I've used them numerous times - always on time (usually a bit early, which is nice), safe drivers, nice cars -

Good feedback by lots of people here on the forum -

Last fall I used www.romeshuttlelimousine.com for transport to and from FCO, 40 Euro each way. They were quite professional and punctual.

I booked as soon as I knew I would need them and when; just to get it off my plate. You don't pay in advance. Obviously, you need to alert them if you cancel - but, anything I can take care of and then just forget about when planning, is always a good thing - for me.
