Tiburtina vs Termini

Is the Tiburtina station any less crowded or complex than Termini? Travel would be on a Saturday morning at the end of May to Naples. Will be coming from the Westin via taxi. The two stations don't appear to be that far apart. Any thoughts?

Tiburtina is smaller than Termini and will have fewer people.

I would choose the station that has the better train time and/or cost.

Tiburtina isn't just smaller, it is *way* smaller than Termini, and far less crowded. We didn't see any street hawkers either like we did at Termini, although perhaps it was just that particular day.

For the same train fare, and given that you will be arriving by taxi, why not choose the Tiburtina Station and take Italo Treno from Rome to Naples! But if Trenitalia is cheaper than Italo Treno, I would go to Roma Termini Station.

We have chosen to take they train to Florence from Tiburtina as it is less busy a plus when traveling with children.
