Camping shop in Rome

I will be in Rome for a week or so and while there I want to pick up some camping equipment. I will need everything including a tent so can anybody point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance

The only "serious" camping shop I can think of is called Decathlon... but it's located in a shopping mall on the way to the airport (that is, in the city outskirts). Unfortunately, there are almost no "useful" shops in the historical centre...

There is one more Decathlon on the address below. If you are in the center of Rome.

1. Take the No.5 or 14 Tram from Rome Termini Station. And get down at stop Largo Prenestina.

2. Take the bus No.501 and ask the bus driver for the stop for Decathlon.

Via Prenestina, 940, Rome, Province of Rome, Italy.

Spent three hours, including a walk of over three miles to get to the Decathlon store near Fiumincio. I don't doubt that it is the best thing going, but if you are from the USA, think Big 5 or some such store. They had canister fuel for only Gaz brand stoves and very limited stock of camping gear otherwise. I was super bummed as I brought an MSR canister stove. Had to suck it up and buy a Gaz stove. Bring a whisperlite and use petrol. They also do not carry insect repellent, or any type of reusable, nalgene style containers. Live and learn...
