Best way to travel from Rome to Museo Leonardiano di Vinci?

Hi fellow travelers!

We are so enthusiastic about our trip in Rome next week. We will be sure to write a report! Thank you to everyone so far for answering our questions for us. Here are two more questions:

1. What is the best way to get to Museo Leonardiano di Vinci. We know to take the train, but we do not know what stop to take and where to go when we get off the train, etc.

2. We are hoping to go on a Wed or Fri early. Is it possible to make this a day trip and just come back to Rome in the evening?

Thank you again for all of your help!

Well, Vinci's museum is in... Vinci! :)

Train to Empoli and then 49-52 Coopit bus line to Vinci, as written here:

museoleonardiano.it/eng/visiting/where-we-are

Bus timetable:

http://www.piubus.it/pdf/estivi/49.pdf

Coopit Bus stop should be near the train station, ("Stazione FS" in Italian).
