does the open tour bus stop at the Vatican?
There are many different companies operating open bus tours, but I would imagine they all stop at the Vatican, or, rather, near St. Peter's Square. The Vatican Museums is a good 15-minute walk from there.
thank you :)
Here is one of the better companies:
what are the thoughts/opinions on the open tour bus in Rome? I have read some not so great reviews on the 110 bus.
Some people like them, some don't. I think they could be a good introduction to the city, but they are not an efficient means of getting from place to place. One of the biggest complaints is that some audio units don't work. Another disadvantage is that the top deck is the only place with a good view, but it can be uncomfortably hot in the summer, and uncomfortably wet when it rains.
