We are visitng Rome from the 9th October and we hope to avoid spending too much time queuing at some of the attractions.
(i) At this time of year what are the queues like at say the Vatican Museums, Colosseum, St. Peter's Basillica ?
(ii) For an October visit is it still advisable to pre-book some or all of these ?
(iii) Is it guided tour only at St. Paul Outside the Walls (Abbazia di San Paolo Fuori Le Mura) ?
If so, does it have to be reserved in advance ?
Many thanks for your advice.
