Rome in march 2013

Our daughter is planning a small church wedding in rome (20 of us flying from UK) on 15th March. With the 6 Nations rugby game on this w/e we were wondering just how busy hotels etc will be?

I'd start looking for a hotel now, particularly since there are 20 people (assuming you want to stay in the same place). March/April is the beginning of tourist season, but even "low" season in Rome still means a lot of visitors and people are already booking for trips in 2014,

If you post information about what you are looking for in a hotel (approximate budget, area where the wedding is taking place, etc.) that would help people give you specific suggestions.

Thank you will do but was just wondering what impact the 6 nations match had on Rome itself. Although I think the stadium is to the north of the city, does it mean noisy Saturday night and larger queues Sunday ie should we be considering changing the date?
