Visit which place first?

We are planning to visit Rome, Florence and Venice in end May.

4 days Rome, 2 days Florence and 2 days Venice.

Does it make a difference whether to start with Rome and end at Venice, or start at Venice and end at Rome? Flight-wise it is ok whichever way.

My concern with Venice at the last leg meaning heavier bags and ease of transportation to/fro airport.

Thanks for your advice!!

1. Re: Visit which place first?

Which place are you most interested in? Not sure where you are flying from, but is the 4 days, 2 days, 2 days not counting the day you arrive or does it include it? If it counts the day you arrive I would say start in Rome since you have an extra day to tour. Would not make sense to start in Venice if you are only there 2 days and one of the days is the day you arrive. You may be too exhausted to do anything and then you only got 1 day left.
