1. Re: Marozzi bus website.

I see four bus runs per day from Roma to Bari on the Marozzi website.

Also check the Trenitalia train schedules.

Thank you for the info but my web page is still coming up blank( I have the train timetable). Is it marozzivt.it still? Could someone advise whether there is a morning bus to Matera?

Ferrovie Appulo Lucane (FAL) runs the train and bus service between Bari and Matera.

There's a bus departing Bari for Matera at 6.15, but then the next bus isn't until 12.25.

The Marozzi buses depart from the Tiburtina bus depot at 7:30, 11:00, 15:30 and midnight. They take 5.5 hours to Bari. The one-way fare is 34 Euros.

the Frecciargento train (BASE fare 54 Euros) is faster (4 hours) and more comfortable, and cheaper at the SUPER ECONOMY fare (where offered).

Thanks for all the info. I have booked the fast train to Bari at the Super economy 19 euros so it will be a lot cheaper than the bus.

The train is really the most optimal transport between Rome and Bari.
