Cornelia area

Hi just asking if anyone can tell me a little about the Cornelia area of Rome. Safe to walk around in the evening / night before 10 pm?

Understand no where is 100% safe and care needed but just trying to get a feel for the area between Cornelia Metro station and ESH Executive Style Hotel.

Thank you.

1. Re: Cornelia area

Overall, I believe the area around the circonvallazione Cornelia (which is in fact called the Aurelio district) to safe enough, even though it's dull and there isn't much to do aside from taking the bus, or the Metro, to the historical centre.

However, it would be best to keep your wits with you and be vigilant as you would while at home.
