For the catacomb area on the Appian way, you would take Metro B at Colosseo in the driection of Laurentina to the Piramide metro stop


Across the street on the east side of the station you can board bus 118 for the catacomb area.

The St sebastian catacombs are closed on Sunday. The St Callistus catacombs I think are closed on Wednesday.
